malnutrition accounts for more than 1/3 of the deaths each year in Haiti. Malnutrition is not due to just a lack a food it is a lack of nutrition in the food they consume. Haiti has this problem because they do not have the proper foods and money to get these foods. Alsso, they do not have the proper soil to grow foods and they can not make enough money to get nutritious foods that they need. The way that we can help is by sending money and donating foods, but not just rice and dried foods, but foods with the vitamins and nutrients we need to survive.
